Let's begin again, shall we?
It has been 6 months and 1 week since the return to California. I hadn't noticed, but 6 months to the day after my return I had a bit of a celebration. Kodo (鼓動), a professional taiko group from Japan, came to L.A. to perform on a world tour. I had an excellent evening watching them at the Disney Concert hall. Call it a subconscious dedication to getting back to Japan.
Coming back has been hard (time abroad changes more that expected), but the world has found its equilibrium once again.
The next great journey is being planned.
Destination: University of Sheffield, England
Loot to be collected along the way: MA in Japanese Studies (and maybe 一級)
出発: September 2011 (if all goes well)
Necessary supplies: a crap ton of money
